Take that Hulu! – Report: Gaming consoles most used Web-to-TV devices
Market Analyst group In-Stat published a report stating that there will be a significant increase of Web-to-TV device usage, with gaming consoles leading the charge as television viewing alternative.
Leading the charge is, obviously, Netflix on 360 with its ease of use.
Brad’s Take: Honestly, with the exceptions of shows such as Lost, Heroes or Grey’s Anatomy, Hulu and Xbox Live are the ways I view current television episodes.
Personally, I hate giving up chunks of my gaming and social life for a certain day and time (unless the show is worth it of course). If it wasn’t for this type of distribution, I would miss such great shows as Kings, Castle and the “Motherlover” skit from SNL.
I only see this going further…do I sense Hulu on XBL next year?
