New PS3 Greatest Hits titles coming in June 12th
Sony announces six titles are going to join the PS3’s Greatest Hits moniker. They are as follows:
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
Army of Two
Battlefield: Bad Company
Devil May Cry 4
Gran Turismo 5: Prologue
Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction
They will be shipped on June 12th with the price of $29.99.
Brad’s Take: Well, Bryan will sure be thrilled.
That being said…Gran Turismo 5: Prologue only drops $10 and is considered Greatest Hits? Even at that price, it’s still kind of a rip off.
And where is Heavenly Sword? Folklore? Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune? Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds?
And…wouldn’t it be cool if they made these games downloadable for Greatest Hits? Or how about slash prices on old PSN games, like Everyday Shooter, Super Stardust HD and Nucleus?
Bryan’s Take: I am excited about… 2 games out of this list but I have to agree with you Brad. The list isn’t as strong as I thought it could have been.
The strongest one happens to be Metal Gear Solid 4 and the others are well… average when it comes gameplay. Why isn’t Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune at least on this list?
I’m happy that they are doing it but the choices of games were poorly played (except one).
